What we collect, and only what we collect

When you ask us to call, we collect the email address and phone number you type, and nothing else you have to fill in.

Your browser also tells us how you arrived — the page you landed on, the site that referred you, and any campaign tag in the link — and it identifies itself, which is the make and version of your browser and device. We keep that so we know which advertising is worth paying for, and so we can tell whether the form works on the devices people actually use.

To stop the form being abused we also store a scrambled form of your network address — not the address itself — and count requests against it for an hour. Those counters are cleared every week.

We do not collect your name, your home address, or payment details, because we do not need them to call you back.

What we use it for

To contact you about the estimate you asked for. That is the whole purpose.

We do not sell your details, we do not share them with anyone else, and we do not add you to a mailing list. You will not get marketing from us because you asked for an estimate.

How long we keep it

Until you ask us to delete it, or until it is no longer of any use to us — whichever comes first.

We are a small business and we keep records of the people we have quoted, because someone who asked last spring often calls again. If you would rather we did not, say so and we will remove it.

Asking us to delete it

Email withus@shadyexpectations.com from the address you gave us, or call (561) 900-3206, and ask us to delete your details. We will do it and confirm when it is done.

You do not have to give a reason, and it will not affect any work we are already doing for you.

Who else sees it

The site runs on Cloudflare, and your details are stored in a Cloudflare database and sent to us by Cloudflare's email service. Google Workspace hosts the mailbox that receives them. Those companies process the data so the site can work; they do not get it for their own use.

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It uses no cookies and does not follow you between websites.
